“Cloud” is very happy!

her twins were born last night at -10 degrees

which seems impossible but…

shearing day 2013

it’s shearing day

january 26th - 12 degrees – no wind

friends (great friends that don’t mind the chill) come to help

and the sheep – full of lambs – are ready to give up their bulky wool coats

and the rewards are worth it all!

cvm~romeldale sheep

You don’t need to get your wool from New Zealand or any other country. These CVM~Romeldale sheep

are an American Heritage breed ~ so rare there are only a handful of registered breeders.

colored angora goats

colored angora goats - they are the clowns of the barn yard.

they nudge you for scratches, play chase and king of the mountain for hours,

and carry on a conversation better than a farmer in his pickup truck.

their curly locks take dye like a sponge and add silky sheen to our yarns.

there are no goats for sale at this time

please check back in April 2013 or contact us if you would like to be placed on the waiting list.
